What does the MCOE do?
The Meridian Center of Excellence provides presentations and activities, and facilitates services:
Presentations are scheduled at the convenience of the requestor and the MCOE
Managing Change Presentations
Managing Change – Part 1 – activities included – 2 hours
- Develop the context and framework to understand change
- Provides tips and tools to move through change
- Understand what change feels like from an individual, group and organizational perspective (emphasis on group perspective)
Managing Change – Part 2 – activities included – 2 hours
- Further develop the context and framework to understand change
- Provides tips and tools to move through change
- Understand what change feels like from an individual, group and organizational perspective (emphasis on individual and organizational)
Resiliency (employee and employer/manager) – activities included – 2 hours
- Techniques to cope with stress and ambiguity in the workplace
- Define resiliency
- Why is resiliency important
- What makes up employee well-being
- Behavior, tips and activities for employee resiliency (e.g. learning how to respond rather than react)
- Behavior, tips and activities to help employers/manager promote/achieve resiliency
Process Mapping and Re-engineering Presentations
Process mapping and re-engineering exercise – 1-2 hours depending on need
- Learn how to process map your current processes
- Document and categorize pain points discovered in your processes
- Experience doing a re-engineered process
- How to start re-engineering after you have mapped or understood current processes
Agile Presentations
Introduction to Agile – activities included – 2 hour minimum
- Learn the principles of the Agile methodology
- Learn the Agile scrum framework
- Participate in an exercise to experience Agile principles
- Scaled Agile (Scrum of Scrums, Big Room Planning, SAFe ) is not included
